These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Vennila Pattu Center website and the saree purchase service we provide in Salem, Tamil Nadu, India. By using this website or engaging our service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About our service

Vennila Pattu Center purchases old and used pattu (silk) sarees from individuals. We do not sell sarees to the public through this website, and this website does not process any online payments. All transactions take place in person.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age to sell sarees to us.
• You must be the lawful owner of the sarees you offer, or be authorised by the owner to sell them.
• We may decline any transaction where ownership is unclear or where we have reasonable grounds for concern.

3. Valuation and pricing

Our offer for any saree is determined after physical inspection and depends on:

• The weight of the saree;
• The quantity, type and purity of zari;
• The type and quality of the silk; and
• The overall condition of the fabric.

4. Free valuation and no obligation

• Valuation and doorstep visits within our service area are provided free of charge.
• You are under no obligation to sell. You may decline our offer at any point before payment, at no cost.
• Equally, we are under no obligation to purchase any saree and may decline items at our discretion.

5. Doorstep collection

• Free collection is available in Salem city and nearby areas. Coverage outside this area is confirmed on a case-by-case basis when you contact us.
• Visit times are arranged by mutual agreement and are estimates. Delays may occur due to traffic, weather or other circumstances beyond our control.
• Please ensure an adult aged 18 or over is present at the address at the agreed time.

6. Completion of sale and transfer of ownership

A sale is complete when you accept our offer and payment is made. At that point, ownership of the sarees transfers to Vennila Pattu Center. Once a sale is complete it is final — please see our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. Payment

• Payment is made at the time of collection, by cash, UPI or bank transfer, as agreed with you.
• We do not accept or request advance payments, deposits or fees from customers at any stage.
• We will never ask for your bank password, OTP, PIN or card details. Do not share these with anyone.

8. Website chat assistant

The chat feature on this website is an automated assistant that follows a fixed set of questions. It cannot give binding prices or legal advice, and its responses are for general guidance only. For anything specific, please speak to our team on 98421 18927.

9. Acceptable use of this website

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information through our forms or chat;
• Use this website for any unlawful purpose;
• Attempt to interfere with, damage or gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems;
• Copy, reproduce or republish the content, images or design of this website without our written permission.

10. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, images, the business name, logo and layout — is the property of Vennila Pattu Center or is used with permission, and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vennila Pattu Center shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or from any estimate given before physical inspection. Our total liability in connection with any transaction is limited to the amount paid or payable for the sarees concerned.

12. Availability of the website

We aim to keep this website available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the website without prior notice.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or our service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Salem, Tamil Nadu, India.
